🔮 Our Analysis
Ever since the pandemic made working from home the new norm for many employees, digital nomadism has been on the rise. While this enables many to travel to and explore new cities as they work, it brings the added complication of figuring out insurance while on the move. Insured Nomads is addressing this by focusing on digital nomads as its target audience. By providing multiple plans catered to the different lifestyles of digital nomads—for example, it offers a plan for the traveler that often comes back to their home country and offers another plan for the traveler that spends more time abroad—Insured Nomads directly addresses multiple segments within its niche. This, combined with how its plans can be used through a B2C model, where the customer purchases from its site, and through a B2B model, where employers provide insurance to remote workers, there is a plan for every digital nomad. Moreover, the company differentiates itself by offering various tech-enabled services in an industry ready for disruption. With more workplaces than ever embracing a remote-friendly culture, Insured Nomads is poised to provide insurance plans to many people.
