💼 Opportunities

🔮 Our Analysis
From work to entertainment to shopping, we do a lot on our computers. With so much crossing our screens on any given day, it’s easy to forget the things we should be remembering. Rewind’s solution is to provide users a way to parse through a digital timeline of their activities on their computer. The process is mostly hands-free—there’s no need to manually integrate every app, saving time and increasing productivity. However, the company must balance productivity with privacy. It addresses privacy concerns by promising to not sell data and keep data local to the user’s machine. However, this leaves out other privacy concerns, such as the possibility of online meetings being recorded without participants’ consent. While the current guidance from the company is to ask meeting participants for consent proactively, this is a solution that we hope Rewind can eventually address technologically. We have high hopes for the company as it attempts to realize its lofty vision to give humans a “perfect memory.”
